One-on-one coaching for women from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Lebanon, Syria and beyond, pursuing higher education around the world. What they don't have is access to the specialized coaching that translates their experience into the language applications and interviews require, or the means to afford it where they live.

How it works

buys a student in North America a Strong Interest Inventory and a 90-minute debrief with me.

In August 2026, I spent the day with Afghan girls now rebuilding their lives in BC, working on the scholarship essays that are their only path to university. They walked in overwhelmed, carrying war and displacement, unsure which of their stories even mattered. By the end, each had focus, structure, and the first lines of her essay on the page.

WHAT YOUR GIFT DOES
I'm raising $20,000 this year to fund coaching for 8 to 10 young women.
Any amount helps. Here's what a gift can do:
$50 — part of a coaching session
$250 — a full one-hour session
$550 — a Strong Interest Inventory and 90-minute debrief
$1,000 — full essay support for one application
$5,500 — a full program: three months of weekly coaching for one young woman
You'll know exactly who you helped. Once the funding is secured and we've identified the young women, I write to each donor about the woman their gift supported.
